Charmy Kaur, a Punjabi KUDI, has made a name for herself in Tollywood.Charmy Kaur was born on May 17, 1987 in Mumbai, India and completed her schooling from Convent Carmelite High School English, Vasai. She began acting when she was only 15 years old. Her first film was Nee Thodu Kaavali where she was a woman of the house.
Charmy's first two movies were big flops (Kadal Thodu Kaavali Azhavatillai and Nee), but it gave its recognition in the Indian film industry of the South. She acted in a Malayalam film Kattuchembakam, and some more Telugu films like Sri Anjaneyam and Chanti. They did not run successfully and were major failures.
She finally found success with Gowri Telugu movie and then Mass with Nagarjuna. Its most disappointing film so far was Anukokunda Oka Roju and her performance was criticized.
Her dancing skills were evaluated in the movie Pournami (2006) and it was praised for her films as Chinnodu, Rakhi and mantra. Some of her recent films are Telugu Manorama, Sye Aata, Kavya and Mayagadu Diary.She has received awards for best actress for Mantra and also Santosham Best Actress Award for Anukokunda Oka Roju.
