Saloni Aswani is born on 1 June 1979 at Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra is an Indian film actress and model, who has acted in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu language cinemas.
Her father worked as a Customs Officer.At the age of 5 her family moved to the CGS quarters at Wadala, Mumbai.later she started getting interested in acting here.
After finishing her schoolling, she herself enrolled in the 'Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University'(called as SNDT) near New Marine Lines/Churchgate, Mumbai, and after her graduation in Psychology, she took the acting lesson in Ashok Kumar's Acting Academy, run by Preeti Ganguly.
Throughout her academic career, she had always used to participate in dramas, especially as Sridevi. She even participated with a theater group "Kala Sansad". Her initial appearances were in commercial adsvertisements from Vaseline, Lifebuoy, Parachute Oil, Moove, Chic shampoo, Three roses tea, Meera soaps, etc.
